Are you available April 8th and interested in learning more and volunteering to build trails north of Canyon Camp? The Jo Daviess Conservation Foundation is planning on trail renovations on their newly acquired property from the Blackhawk Area Council peripheral to Camp. This new partnership has created opportunity for learning new trail maintenance practices and an opportunity for service. Consider creating a unit outing (campsites and cabins available for rental), joining us individually, or bringing a group of friends. Courtney Abate, the Preserve Coordinator at the Jo Davies Conservation Foundation will be leading a group of volunteers in enhancing trails on their property
Volunteers interested in serving can meet at the Canyon Camp office at 8am on April 8th. We will conclude the day around 2:00 PM. Come out an learn more on trail maintenance, the new trail plan interlinking Canyon Camp with JDCF and State Park lands, and more!
